Selected Films

In this inaugural year, Co-founders Travis Lucas & Evan Butler put out a call, province-wide, seeking submissions from new and emerging artists. The aim was to feature work directed by, or in the very least, crewed by the next generation of filmmakers — those who have worked professionally for three years or less.

No age restrictions; no restrictions by genre; the only guideline that they be short form — roughly 10 minutes or less, with a few exceptions — and with the expectation of a certain level of quality. This was not an easy goal, but the selections have been made!

Below are our selected films, listed in alphabetical order. You can find out more by clicking over to our Filmmakers page.
